Ying Studebaker, R.N., is Director of Wellness and Health Coaching. Ying holds two bachelor degrees in nursing and business administration , and a master’s degree in community health nursing. She is also a clinical nurse specialist and is certified as a specialist in tobacco treatment and interactive guided imagery. Ying has taught health and wellness at work sites, hospitals, universities, primary care and community settings for over 16 years. Ying previously served as a worksite wellness consultant, director of disease management for self-insured employers, and director of clinical support for the Ohio federally-qualified, Health Centers for five years In 2007, Ying was appointed by Governor Ted Strickland to a two-year term on the state Commission on Minority Health. Ying’s interests include meditation, travel and reading. |
Laura Peterson is Manager of Wellness and Health Coaching and oversees the daily operations of the personal health coaching and wellness team. A native of Columbus, Laura is a graduate of Kent State University with a dual major in psychology and sociology. She also holds a master’s degree in public health from The Ohio State University and is certified as a health education specialist, health coach from the Cooper Institute, and a corporate wellness consultant from the Corporate Health and Wellness Association. Laura has also served as a health educator and crisis intervention specialist in mental health. Laura enjoys working with the OSU Health Plan team to promote integrated health and wellness within the academic, business, health care and public sectors. |

Health Coach Alison Nolte graduated from High Point University with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and is currently pursuing her master's degree in public health at The Ohio State University. She is an American College of Sports Medicine certified health and fitness specialist and has been working as a health coach for three years. Alison enjoys traveling and exploring the great outdoors. |
Health Coach Kim Allen is a Columbus native and graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in speech and hearing science. She also holds an MBA in health services from Ohio State. Kim previously served as a health coach for Nationwide Better Health and is currently pursuing additional certification in health coaching. Kim enjoys her family and friends, tennis, dancing, cooking and traveling. |
Health Coach Lindsay Badertscher graduated from the University of Dayton with a bachelor’s degree in dietetics. Lindsay holds a health and wellness coach certification through Wellcoaches and is certified in adult weight management through the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Lindsay has extensive experience working with people in behavioral change weight loss programs and has been a health coach for the past three years. |

Health Coach Carol Brooker graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in physical education and a master’s degree in exercise physiology. Carol also holds a health and wellness coach certification through Wellcoaches. Carol enjoys helping people achieve their health and fitness goals and has previously worked in sports medicine and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation. She enjoys running, yoga and weight training. |
Health Coach Marianne Robinson graduated from The Ohio State University, with a bachelor’s degree in health education. She is also credentialed as a certified health education specialist. Marianne has been employed at Ohio State for 23 years where she most recently served as wellness program manager. Marianne’s passion for preventive health and wellness education led to her being chosen as a Distinguished Staff Award recipient in 2007. |
Health Coach Jenny Anderson graduated from The University of Missouri with a bachelor’s degree in human nutrition and foods. She is certified as an adult weight management specialist with the American Dietetics Association. Jenny has worked in wellness and health promotion for close to 20 years and has been a health coach for five years. Jenny enjoys cooking, yoga, biking, music and reading. |
